Don’t forget to pack your mozzie spray Wombat fans, as we’re heading back into the jungle for this one in the Aztec Powernudge slot from Pragmatic Play.
Now, I like a nudge, so the “Powernudge” in the title had my furry ears pricked up. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Look and Feel
Let’s head into the jungle and go looking for some shiny gems.
The game is set deep amongst the ancient ruins of an American rainforest, with symbols including some bright, expensive-looking jewels and card playing symbols distributed on a 6×5 grid. I am sure I can smell Gonzo in here somewhere. There’s a pretty funky soundtrack to accompany play on this one.

Gameplay
You must drop a minimum of eight of these symbols in a “pays anywhere” mechanic (we like)to trigger a win. Multiplier symbols (the diamonds), can show up on any spin during the base game, with values from 5x to 100x all ready to boost your win on that spin.
Why Nudge when you can Powernudge?
The Powernudge mechanic scoops up wins into a meter, and the reels with winning symbols are nudged down one place to reveal another symbol from above. The win is then logged for all combinations on the reels, and the feature draws to a close when no more wins appear. In the Powernudge sequence, you collect Scatters and if four or more of them land during the feature, you will trigger the free spins bonus round.
Bonus
During the bonus feature, Multipliers can go up to 250x, 500x or 1,000x alongside all other possible scenarios.
Three more Scatters in the same nudge sequence during the bonus will retrigger the bonus and you will get five more free games.
The bonus has a guaranteed win of 15x, with further free spins up for grabs if you do not hit the minimum during the bonus.
Bonus Buy
You can go ahead and buy the bonus in many jurisdictions (not the UK). This will cost 100x your stake. This gets you between four and six triggering scatters.
Summary
There is plenty of action in the Aztec Powernudge slot – it’s an entertaining game.
